1. Purpose of Use of Personal Information

The Company collects personal information for the following purposes.

  • ・Implementation of sales promotion measures, including advertising, surveys, and distribution of email newsletters
  • ・Outsourcing to third parties within the scope necessary for business activities

2. Provision of Personal Information to the Company

The provision of personal information to the Company is entirely at the discretion of the customer. However, if the information is not provided, the customer may not be able to use the Company’s services.

3. Disclosure and Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties

The Company will not disclose or provide customers’ personal information to third parties, except in the following cases:

  3. 3. When it is necessary for the protection of human life, body, or property, and it is difficult to obtain the customer’s consent

4. Requests for Disclosure of Personal Information

Upon receiving any of the following requests regarding the customer’s own personal information held by the Company, the Company will promptly respond within a reasonable period and scope through the prescribed procedures.

5. Handling of Google User Data

The Company shall use OAuth 2.0 authentication provided by Google and the following API scopes to provide certain functions in the Company’s services.

Through this scope, the Company sends emails from the user’s Gmail account based on the user’s explicit operation, using the following information:

  • ・Recipient email addresses (To, CC, BCC)
  • ・Subject
  • ・Body (text or HTML)
  • ・Attachments (optional)

All of this information is used based on content that the user has personally entered or operated. The Company does not access any data such as Gmail’s inbox, contacts, labels, or drafts.

Through this scope, the Company accesses product data registered in the user’s Google Merchant Center and uses it for the following purposes:

  • ・Retrieval, editing, and synchronization of product information (e.g., product ID, title, price, inventory, image URL, etc.)
  • ・Automatic update processing to maintain the latest status of the user’s product list

The data obtained is limited to the scope necessary for the execution of the above functions, and the Company does not obtain or store any personal information of the Google account, such as name, email address, Google ID, or profile image.

In addition, the Company implements the following security measures for the data obtained:

  • ・Regarding various operations (data retrieval, updating, and transmission), access logs and operation histories are recorded and managed so that audits can be conducted as necessary.
  • ・Regarding the operations performed by each user (e.g., update history of product information, tracking information of sent emails, etc.), change histories are maintained, and a system is in place to detect and trace unauthorized use or operational errors.
  • ・Log information is stored in an appropriate security environment and is deleted or archived after a certain period.

The Company shall retain such Google user data only for the period necessary for service provision, and shall promptly delete it after the relevant purpose has ended or upon receipt of a deletion request from the user. As a general rule, the data will be completely deleted within 30 days from the date of receipt of the deletion request. Please direct inquiries regarding deletion to info@teto-te.jp.

The Company’s use of Google APIs and handling of Google user data shall strictly comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy (in particular, the Limited Use requirements), and the data obtained shall be managed with appropriate technical safeguards such as encryption.

6. Analytics Tools

We use the following third-party tools to understand how our website is used and to improve our services.

We use Google Analytics (GA4), a web analytics service provided by Google. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect anonymous traffic data. The information collected includes:

  • IP address (anonymized)
  • Visited page URLs
  • Time spent on pages, referral sources, device information, and browser information
  • User behavior within the website

We also enable the “Google Signals” feature in Google Analytics. For users who have consented to ad personalization with their Google account, we may obtain anonymized aggregated demographic data such as age, gender, and interests. This information does not identify individuals and is managed in accordance with Google’s Privacy Policy.

We use Microsoft Clarity, a user behavior analytics tool provided by Microsoft. Clarity uses cookies and similar technologies to collect the following information:

  • User interaction data such as mouse movements, clicks, and scrolling
  • Session recordings of on-screen interactions
  • Device information, browser information, and referral data

The collected data is used solely to analyze usage and improve website usability. No personally identifiable information is collected. Data collected by Microsoft Clarity is managed in accordance with Microsoft’s Privacy Statement.

Users can refuse the use of cookies through their browser settings. In addition, you can disable data collection by Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on provided by Google.
