Regarding Advertising Regulations under the Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Act (Former Pharmaceutical Affairs Law)

Even for health foods, descriptions of effects or efficacy may be considered as advertising of unapproved pharmaceuticals, and are therefore subject to restrictions.
Businesses intending to handle such products are required to submit a written pledge designated by our company. Please ensure, under your own responsibility, that your product descriptions and advertisements comply with the relevant laws and regulations.
If you have any questions regarding the Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Act or other related regulations, please contact the relevant prefectural pharmaceutical affairs division.
In some cases, we may also request that you consult with the relevant authorities.
